Through Entergy-Koch, L.P., it is also a leading provider of wholesale energy marketing and trading services, as well as an operator of natural gas pipeline and storage facilities.

The Non-Utility Nuclear segment owns and operates five nuclear power plants, and sells electric power produced by those plants to wholesale customers. The Energy Commodity Services segment included Entergy-Koch, LP and the Company's non-nuclear wholesale assets business. Entergy also has a Competitive Retail Services business unit. In January 2004, Entergy sold its 50% interest in the Crete project, which is a 320-megawatt power plant located in Illinois. In November 2004, the Company sold its energy trading business, Entergy-Koch, LP.
