BA develops and produces jet transports, military aircraft and space and missile systems through 4 segments: commercial airplanes, military aircraft and missiles, space and communications and BCC. For the 6 months ended 6/30/05, net sales rose 8% to $28.02B. Net income from cont. ops. before accounting change fell 10% to $1.08B. Results reflect increased service revenues, offset by higher general and administrative expense.
